Brenda Spradling, our 1st vice president, was presented with the National PTA Life Achievement Award for her continued dedication to the students and families of NEISD. This year Brenda was the head of Founders' Day committee.
Rhonda Matson, our Clothes Closet Chair, was awarded the Texas Extended Service Award for her hard work, innovation, and dedication to providing clothing to economically-disadvantaged students in the NEISD district. This is Rhonda's second year of working at the North East Council of PTAs Clothes Closet, which serves over 800 students each school year.
