To help students (Pre K-12) in our district, whose families or guardians may be economically challenged, by providing new and/or gently used clothing for school that meets the NEISD Dress Code.
How it Works
Families will be confidentially referred by a school representative (Nurse, Counselor or Family Specialist). The representative will provide a voucher for each qualifying student in the family. The family will be able to "shop" (no cost) at the Clothes Closet for the following items: 5 tops, 5 bottoms, 5 new socks & 5 new underwear (per semester), and 3 coats or jackets (per school year).
Donation Drop Off Info
The donation bin was removed this summer after irreparable damage.
At this time, we are accepting large donations at the store during operating hours (Wednesdays 10-1 and one Saturday a month) and by arrangement with the Clothes Closet. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a meeting time. If you have a smaller donation, please label it "Clothes Closet" and take it to your local school campus.
